Andressing.eu - Unfortunate Naming

Welcome to my new blog! Here I might occasionally write on things ranging from "Hey, look at this cool piece of software" to "Wow, this technology really scares me!", but also potentially things not related to tech, like "I like what this place is doing with it's cycling infrastructure." So, what about the name? Why is it so similar to the thing you do before taking a shower (or consume certain types of content)?
The truth is, at first I didn't notice and then I was to lazy to get a different domain and do all the setup for the webserver and ssl certificates again.

The name itself is simply a combination of my real, first name, Andreas, and the nick name, Dressing, given to me by a small group of friends. Dressing can have two meanings in the English language: "getting dressed" and "salad dressing". Translating into German we get "sich anziehen" and "Salatdressing", so it should be clear, which meaning was intended. This wasn't even the first time this friend group named me after some grocery, but definitely one of the more flattering ones.
